Privacy Policy for NOCLIP

Last updated: 8 October 2026

NOCLIP is a first-person horror game for Android, developed by an independent developer. This policy explains what data the game uses and what happens to it.

The short version: NOCLIP is an offline game. It has no internet permission at all, so it cannot send anything anywhere, and it collects no personal information.

What the game stores on your device

The game keeps a small settings file in its own private storage on your device. It holds your preferences (look speed, field of view, brightness, volume, graphics quality, frame rate, the camcorder filter, radar options, vibration and left-handed controls) and the furthest level you have reached. This file never leaves your device. It is deleted when you uninstall the game or clear its data, and the Reset progress button in the settings screen resets the saved level.

Permissions

The only permission the game asks for is VIBRATE, used for haptic feedback when you press the exit button or are caught. You can turn vibration off in the settings. The game does not ask for access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos, files or phone, and it holds no INTERNET permission, so Android will not let it open a network connection even in principle.

Links to other sites

The settings screen has a Buy me a coffee button, and the credits screen mentions the same address. Tapping the button asks Android to open that page in your web browser; the game itself sends nothing. That site is run by a third party and has its own privacy policy.

Google Play

If you installed the game from Google Play, Google handles the download and may collect information about the installation under its own privacy policy. Through the Play Console the developer can see aggregated, anonymous statistics such as install counts and crash reports from devices whose users have chosen to share them. No personal information about you is provided to the developer.
